The 59th edition of the International Exhibition for Shoes and Leather Products – Obuv. Mir Kozhi 2023. Autumn – was once again a key event for all participants of the footwear and leather market in Russia.
The show was organised by EXPOCENTRE AO. The participation of Italian manufacturers was supported by Assocalzaturifici (Italy).
Obuv. Mir Kozhi is the main event dedicated to the footwear and leather industry of the upper price segment in Russia. Leading manufacturers and distributors of footwear and leather goods met under one roof with industry professionals and representatives of wholesale and retail trade.
More than 100 brands from 7 countries (Belarus, France, Italy, Russia, San Marino, Spain and Turkiye) showed new collections for Spring/Summer 2024.
This season’s exhibitors were Giovanni Fabiani, Cromia, Marino Fabiani, Aldo Brue, Loriblu, Lancaster, Kelton, Pollini, Accademia, Arcadia, Valentino Orlandi, Marina Creazioni, Nila&Nila, Cesare Casadei, Luca Guerrini, Thierry Rabotin, Lab Milano, Gironacci, Braccialini, Mara, Liu Jo, Repo, Carlo Salvatelli, Donna Soft, Sara Burglar, Ninalilou, Francesco V., Marzetti, Ermanno Firenze, Tony Perotti, Mattioli, Parizhskaya Kommuna, Piligrim, Galanteya, and others.
The major part of show was occupied by Italian manufacturers, which are rightfully considered to be trendsetters, and their high-quality and stylish products are always relevant and in demand.
The number of visitors to the exhibition increased by 21% compared to last year, with industry professionals coming from 24 countries and 77 regions of Russia. They were offered the best collections of men's, women's, children's and sports footwear, as well as a wide range of leather goods such as bags, briefcases, purses, wallets, suitcases, gloves, outerwear, belts and accessories.
As part of the show, EXPOCENTRE AO and Kosygin Russian State University of Design and Technology held the Shoes Design 2023. Autumn Festival of Young Designers, which gave young designers an opportunity to present their work to the professional community. The winners of the festival were determined based on the results of the professional evaluation as well as open online voting in three nominations: Shoes, Accessories, and Shoes and Accessories.
